Retired!
Old bulletin board
Oct. 7th, 2005
After a very unlucky drafting and a very difficult opening schedule we have made it to the top of the group.

Although there are still 3 more matches left before the play offs first place should be secured as we only have the weakest and easiest of the group left.

When Killer Mutants and Chaos49 have been utterly defeated only the top team of group A remains in our way and already the teams of group A are shaking with fear and dread as they might go up against the might of Lord Zhatan.
We deem that it will be either Deadly Doom or Blood Bowl Bunnies that will be first in their group after the 7th match but it matters not as they are both inferior to our might.

After suffering many a setback in the preseason and early season due to loss of players we are now back to full strenght again amd it is a delight to see how well the rookies have fallen into the rhythem of the team and no fully replace those who were too weak to survive in this game any longer.

With nearly no Nigglings and skills all around Lord Zhatan feels that this will be the year where we will go all the way.

That's it, the end of Zhatan's Disciples.

After the miserable failure against Shadows of Sorcery Lord Zhatan has announced that the team has failed and all players will be recalled and put to service in the army insteead.

Many of the players are also showing signs of old age as more and more of them are developing permanent injures.

In Lord Zhatan's judgement we are humbled.

Rumor has it that lord Zhatan has been medling with the dark arts of necromancy and therfore might build a new team made of undeads.

Not only were we the first team to qualify for the play offs but we are also the first team to go on to the quarter finals.

Today we met Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it resulted in the the easiest win in our long history as the humans conceded half way through the second half.

We have never scored so many TDs in one match and have now prepared us for the next match as even more of our players have advanced in their play.

We also managed to improve our casualty rating by nearly 50% during this match. Up till now we had only managed to make a measly 16 casualties, but against Tampa Bay Buccaneers we managed to make 7 thus bringing us up to a total of 23.

Keltharos Jr. has learned how to Guard, which means that we now have 8 Guards in our starting formation.

Morkan Lokas has learned how to bypass armour as he has developed the ability Piling On, thus making him even better at maiming the opposition.

The next match will popably be even easier than this one as we have seen which team have moved on to the quarter finals and the team we would have the greatest trouble against we cannot meet until the finale match. So we will definitely be victorious yet again.

And as we are the only team left of the only true master race it will be up to us to avenge our fallen brothers, Fredsduerne, who let themselves be beaten by women. Grr..

After the dreadful defeat at the hands of Woodwatchers,
we have manged to find our former selves again.
The Elves must have spiked our water before the game since we weren't able to penetrate their armour or tackle them properly. And they have the nerve to call us cheaters:(

Ironically it took a brazen and patronizing necromancer to make us find our former rage and brutality. By mocking our dignified head coach by indicating that he is no better than an average zombie, Uffe, we simply had to do something before it got out of hand.

The severely beating of Deadly Doom has properbly put an end to all future mocking attempts of our noble and dignified coaching staff. Head Coach Uffe made a brilliant strategy for the match, Zhatan's Disciples - Deadly Doom (season XIV, round 7), and it was executed to perfection. Now more than half of the team stands to benefit immediately from a MVP award and our ranks has been bolstered as Grongni has increased his strengt to make up for his lacking agility.

We are now more than ready for the play-offs and are optimistic about the coming opponents as we have made it through in the undeniable toughest group our league has seen in a long time.

We are, however, anxious to see who will take the remaining places alongside ours in the play offs as it looks to be a tight struggle where the final two spots are yet unsettled.

We will make another statement after we crush yet another fool who dares to get in our way.

All Hail Lord Zhatan

Change of gamestyle is an apparant succes with the fans. It is a first time with this many fans but it is quite puzzlesome as we've never made so few casualties before.

But we are winning games and although the latest match was a must win game it is still satisfying to know that we are only a few points away from the playoffs.

In our next match we will face tne scissors and it is expected to be bloody and fierce. Hopefully we will have regained our ability to inflict casualties.

A slow beginning.

Two matches and only three points, but the upside is that the next match should prove an easy one as it is against the puny and frail humans, Grünburg Gryphons.

Many positive things has been going on lately. More and more of the stable players are learning additional skills and most glorious of all the Minotaur Wroar has developed tentcles in an effort to be a better team player by capturing and holding all the sprinters and runners on the opposing teams.
Much is expected by this new improvement.

All hail Lord Zhatan
We made it through to the 1/4 finals as promised and proclaimed and we must say our thanks to Thrudd who wisely decided to join the winning side instead of the miserable, puny and weak Olvig Vikings.

Taking into consideration that this was a match up between the two most violent teams in the league much blood and gore was anticipated, and the referee apparently focused on that as he threw out the first two foul attempts in the very first turn on either side. With only 5 caualties being made it was a rather peaceful game as much of the second half the entire Norse team was laying on their backs for turns on end.

A bit of excitedment came as the Disciples scored too quickly and gave the opportunity of making a tie for the Vikings, but alas their very agile thrower couldn't make it.

So we're off to the next round and woe to any who meets us, for they will be crushed (evil sinister laughing)

All hail Lord Zhatan

After a short withdrawal from our rightfully place we are now back in the lead.

At the same time we have secured our place in the playoffs and can now begin our fine tuning of the team.

Sadly this happend at the expense of our inferior brothers of the Dominions of Chaos as we broke the curse upon us, by finally being able to beat them.

Although inferior to our noble and proud team they are none the less superior to the other participants and therefore we wish them good luck in the following matches.

First loss of the season is now a reality.

Comment by Lord Zhatan:
"This was entirely our own fault and i asssure you that Wroar will be held responsibel for losing the game. The stupid cow played a great game but failed to follow the simplest of instructions: Never ever catch the ball. He will be throughly punished so that he won`t ever forget it again. :(."

We lost fair and square, no point in looking for excuses. The Dark Elves proved to be tougher than expected even without some of their players.

This fust means that our next opponents will have the face the fury our inadaquecy and wrath. Somebody has to pay for our failure and it will be our remaining opponents.

All hail Lord Zhatan

Downtime in pole position.

Half the preliminary rounds have been played and we are still well in the lead. Things are looking after the tied game against Sindarin Lords. The resultat means that we are still 2 pts ahead our nearest comptitors and hopefully it will stay that way through out the rest of the preliminaries.

Another bright side is that by having made 21 cas in 5 matches we are the most hard hitting team in the entire league, which is an honor we proudly accept and we will do our best in an attempt to consolidate this position. The minotaur Wroar has much credit in this honor as he finally roused himslef and started thrashing the opponent. He has now learned how to hurt them without knocking himself over first :)

Next match will be against the deadly and daring Death Extravagante. Their team has taken a lot of punishment this season but that dosn't mean that we will go easy on them.

Each match seems to be a new record for our team as we've never won more than 2 games in a row.
As of now we've won 4 and there isn't any reason to think that'll change anytime soon.
There is much evidence which proves that the unstability of previous seasons has now been ended for good.

In our next match we will face Sindarin Lords and have thus been given an opportunity to avenge our miserable defeat last season.
Only time can tell if we succeed at winning our fifth match in a row. The Elves are fast and sure in their ball handling, but we hit harder than them and can take more punishment, so it will be a tight and hard fought match.

It was feared that forcing the deadly Bull Centaur Keltharos, the Hobgoblin Lurkas into assistant coachhood and the rather untimely, and unpredicted retirement of the mighty (but often very stupid) Troll Oglakhan would cause some adjustment problems on the team.

The two first matches has proven otherwise as we have met two of the fast running TD teams and defeated them both.

This bodes well since the our ranks will be reinforced shortly by yet another Bull Centaur, Keltharos Jr., the offspring of Keltharos. We have high hopes for him as he has already proven to be as stong as his father ever was, before he became an assistant coach.

The Minotaur Wroar has replaced Oglakhan, and has show his fury already, but unfortunately not against the opposing teams..yet.

So all in all it is our oppinion that we have come out of the break stronger and more united. The training camp have already paid of in the form of stat increase and extra traits.

So we're ready, and this time we WILL go all the way and no elf, skaven or other inferior should dare to even think about getting in our path. The first two teams got of light, but we will no longer pull over ¨punches, so beware for Zhatan's Disciples might be coming your way

Due to the expected success of the Disciples, the team has been handsomely rewarded by Lord Zhatan as he has drafted yet another Bull Centaur.

It is expected that the extra strenght and speed of Khakhistos will ensure yet another victory.

After raiding a local circus as closure to a miserable season the Disciples not only acquired a new Bull Centaur, but also got a hold of sime fine slaves as a pleasing gift to the dark Lord Zhatan. This was enough to chance the verdict from death to torture and pain.
Lord Zhatan was convinced that the right kind of persuasion would convince his chosen to play better, harder and more brutal.

And proudly we can proclaim that wehave returned from training in the Black City with a fiery vengeance.
All opposition has been crushed, and now nothing and no one can stop us.
Hail Lord Zhatan!

Regrettably the players had been so busy finding the circus containing the new Bull Centaur, and planning a raid against it that they forgot to practise during the week. This resulted in a lot of personal faults from ordinarily veterans of the game., and when pitched against their softhearted kin the result is disaster.

On top of this the fans reeeacted as one probably could expect. When you put fans of Dwarves next to fans of Chaos Dwarves the outcome is mayhem and destruction, which held most ofthe first half of the game.

"We may have lost on the field, but we sure won on the tribunes."

A black day for the Chaos Dwarves as the Bull Centaur, Hrothgar, died on the field of internal bleeding in ever silence. Not even as he died did he utter a word.

As a whole the team performed poorly, with the exception of Vraghol who truly lived up to his fearsome reputation by maiming three of the Undead. Showing that he truky is the favored of Lord Zhatan.

We are now searching for a new Bull Centaur and our new Apothecary (who arrived LATE), claims to know the location of a truly vicious one.
