, his grandfather was
Ole Rømer Jr., and thus his great grandfather was
Ole Rømer. He was a Danish astronomer who in 1676 made the first quantitative measurements of the speed of light. Thus giving the Danish sentence "Han målte lysets tøven" (He measured the hesitation of the light). And that was pretty cool!
However, this 3rd Rømer here, may not be so gifted in the thinking department, but maybe he can make his great grandfather proud on the BB field? Although he will probably not move with the speed of light!
The 3rd was on the roster from the teams' 17th match. He replaced his dead father
Ole Rømer the 2nd who had been killed in the previous match.
