What could have been an exciting match quikly turned into a sure win for DD, as the ref was missing from first half, and the Bunnies wizzard for the match Ane Uråd almost failed completely.
Hence DD takes the last of the semifinal places taking their largest casualty score along with them on the way.
Fearing the Bunnie wizzard DD decided to hire Dyllan the zombie before the match, but he was KOed in the games first block and only made it back on pitch for the very last turn. Waste of good gold.
A very potent lineup by DD, forces the bunnies to take three dodges to get through to the other side of DD's line. Two made it, but the third Pil Grimm failed and were SI MNG. The ball was, however, out of DD's reach!
A succesful blitz by Lex Liche stunning one of the two recivers, was not followed up when he tried to push his TZ on to the other reciver. Double one on second go for it, and the reciver was free and a longbomb by Synne Buch resulted in a TD by Thora Rulle. 1-0 for the bunnies.
A perfect kick placed the ball in DDs own EZ, luckily Mad Max's sure hands managed to prevent a possibel throw in. Two bunnies left the LoS for the KO box, but then several of the remaining bunnies ran down pitch towards DD's EZ. A loose cage were build around Mad Max by a team trying to prevent too much damage from the comming fireball.
And indeed Ane Uråd threw her fireball on the cage but the ball carrier and agile Lex Liche dodged the fire, and only wanted Argos went down, but stayed prone on pitch. Still a one dice blitz were managed, but Mad Max was not even pushed! The turn ended as missserably for the bunnies as it started when Metha Dohn were BH in yet another failed dodge.
And then with the wizard out of the way, DD began grinding the bunnnies into the ground as well as grinding their way up pitch.
Before the last turn Xorn had BH Ru Tine and Argos had BH Ulla Omar in two dirty fouls. And finally a mummy got through when Ra BH Sarah Cen. And in the last turn of the half Mad Max tied the game 1-1.
Only 7 bunnies lined up against DD, and Mad Max got the ball in a cage again. And then Ra killed star thrower Synne Buch. Should she nevcer reach 50 completions. The apotech was on the toilet, but made it back just in time for healing the kill. Phyeew.
But from then on all remaining bunnies stayed on the pitch, forcing Xorn to kick Karen Tæhne BH. But then even DD's dirty player did not think it was interesting, and the DD train proceded to the EZ and Mad Max scored in their final turn for 1-2, the games result.
But before the end revived Synne Buch got her completion count to 47, but it will be her team mate Thera Π who takes the price as season top thrower with 25 this season alone!
Both teams made 60 k, but as expected the lying down of the bunnies did not please their fans and some of them went over to the undead, who also have some nice elf cheerleaders following their dead stars Benno Brausekopf II and Eldahmar "Broken" Chain.
The result was expected but had the wizzard just worked a little better the game might have turned very interesting.
Instead DD now goes into the semifinals for the seond time in four tries and it seems like they will be able to field Count Luthor the Vampire once more! Can they make it all the way this time?
