Pouring rain made the ball slippery and would make the game quite interesting. Blights received the ball but could not pick it up. The Bunnies retrived it after some interesting bounces and made it to the endzone 1-0.
The Bunnies then threw a blitz and cornered the ball. Blights spent their wizard virtually to no avail, and the Bunnies went ahead 2-0.
Blights then finally managed to mount an offensive drive, and despite the Bunnies' efforts to grind their progress to a stop, Blights made it 2-1 in their final turn of the first half.
In the second half an initial Bunny surge was stopped, but the Bunnies made their way down the field regardless. They were stopped just before the endzone and now struggled to hold back the Blights. The Necromantics did, however, manage to make the equalizer in the final turn of regulation.
In the first half of overtime Blights received the ball and drove for an easy touchdown against a heavily decimated Bunny team. 2-3.
But in the second half of overtime 4 knocked out Bunnies return and mounted a surprise comeback. 3-3.
The Bunnies then threw another blitz and cornered the Blights. Everything was hanging in the balance and the match could have gone both ways, when the Bunnies almost took down the Blight ball-carrier deep in Blight territory, but the Necromantics prevailed and sprinted for a last second win in overtime.
