Match notes
A very equal match on the paper, so neither team had induced anything for the match - 16 Gobos from TV2 where ready against only 12 Chaos from DD.

Kicking the ball TV2 came of to a bad start. The chainsaw hit the wielder Holger Bech Nielsen Jr., luckily not breaking amour. Both the blitz and the block resulted in bad dices, only saved by two skills, and then the first dodge failed.

This left an opening for DD who soon had run Ignus down pitch with the ball, encouraged by the two cas just made. (Faust the Feckless BH Thomas Edison the 2nd and Fah Uhl killed Enrico Fermi the 2nd.).

However, with his new dodge skill (that kept him up for long this match) Holger Bech Nielsen Jr. managed to blitz him and saw him down. And then the ball was suddenly with agile Tycho Brahe Jr. and a few dodges later two other gobos had caged him off from DD's players.

Soon TV2 looked to win the half, but with few players on pitch, and a stupid troll, Tycho Brahe Jr. tried to at least secure no TDs by passing the ball far down towards DD's EZ. And next turn TV2 actually had a small chance of scoring, but when Leonardo da Vinci the 2nd tries to get into the EZ he falls over the invisible line. And even then a fantastic move by Tycho Brahe Jr. would have been needed.

TV2's chance of scoring vaporizes when first Robert Oppenheimer Jr. is almost killed by Ludbik (the apotech saved his life but not his broken skull). And then in the last attempt to stop the Chaos from scoring Holger Bech Nielsen Jr. falls before he can blitz and the saw BH's him.

With also two KOed gobos there are only 3 gobos and two trolls left on pitch, and as the troll again fails to blitz, there is only a hand-off to many armed Thundanzic before he scores to 0-1 for DD in the halves last turn.

4 injured players and only one gobo back from KO, still leaves TV2 with 11 players for the last turn, sadly one of these is Stephen Hawking Jr. with his ball & chain, so he will be send out before 2nd half.

Never the less the gobos haven't given up and sets up for a long shot one turn TD. But everything works out! A bad placed kick goes straight out, and the ball is then given to Alfred Nobel the 2nd the gobo on the LoS. This happens while the fans cheers - lead on by the gobos cheerleading team.

After a few blocks by Stephen Hawking Jr., there is nothing else to do than give the one turner a shot. Troll Niels Bohr Jr. is ready for the task, and controls his hunger, but then his short pass is almost fumbled! Luckily he is a pro and somehow manages to sends the gobo flying anyway. He has aimed towards the wide zone, which is free of Chaos players.

The gobo drifts further down the pitch but stays centred in the wide zone. So as easy a landing as you can get, but had it not been for the wild cheering he would probably not have made it! But he did and suddenly the gobos are in the game again with a 1-1 half time score on a flying TD!

And with the last KOed gobo back TV2 receives 11 vs. 11, but without secret weapons in pitch. Maybe that is a good thing, cause as the team quick snaps out of the starting holes both trolls KOs an opponent (the best warrior Bilick the Weary and the only tackle specialist Tarnitz) and then Richard Feynman Jr. kills the TD scorer Thundanzic, alas the apotech saves the poor thing, but leaves him with a broken collar bone!

So for the rest of the half the gobos are up 11 vs. 8. Still with the ball safely in a cage the only thing needed to ruin everything is a troll (Albert Einstein Jr.) who takes him self down without even taking the rookie minotaur Ludbik with him. And soon Tycho Brahe Jr. is blitzed down and the ball collected by Fah Uhl. This could have turned the match as Johannes Kepler Jr. fails to blitz down the beastman even with all the help he can get. But then the beastman is forced to dodge back and this fails miserably.

The ball is free, and soon Tycho Brahe Jr. once again has it in a cage. And now the few DD players begins to have trouble getting after the cage. Towards the end they manage to KO troll Niels Bohr Jr., but he has held up 2-3 players on the wrong side of the pitch, and now the gobo cage is at the centre of the pitch with all DDs players to one side or behind.

In the end four gobos runs to the opposite side of the pitch and Tycho Brahe Jr. hands the ball to Arthur C. Clarke Jr..

A last desperate attempt to prevent the TD ends when the warrior Faust the Feckless fails to push it for a blitz to get up against Arthur C. Clarke Jr. So in the end the TD can be scored without problems in the last turn of the match for 2-1. Arthur C. Clarke Jr. learned sure feet from that.

Sadly for Leonardo da Vinci the 2nd this his first match for TV2 also became his last, as he started the celebration a bit to early. DD had a last chance to tie the match, which they did not attempt, instead Fah Uhl killed again - this time Leonardo da Vinci the 2nd died!

But a huge comeback victory for TV2!
