Momentum shifts The Breakers s dominance lasted 5 halves..
Shortly into the second half of their third game, the Breakerss found themselves two players down, with no rr's left..
With a stretched defence, the wizard came in handy, and did his job well, allowing the remaining dwarves to retrieve the ball deep in their own territory.
But greed lies deep in the dwarf nature, and could not be denied.. So rather than rallying around the ball to keep it safe from orc hands, we attempted a qiuck pass.. Succes ment an almost cerrtain second touchdown and the win.. But the short fat one failed to catch, allowing the orcs to steal the ball back again and score.. In a final desperatin attempt to get the win, the one dwarf who could get in scoring range tripped in his beard halfway towards the endzone..
Coach has promissed that if greed costs them another win, it'll also cost them their beards. so.. catch next time fatty!!! |

Breakers dominating from game one. Deities of Doom thought they had us as they came rushing in on us, even before the game started (cheating bastards!). But their miss guided thoughts of superiority was quickly thwarted, as we showed them how propper bashing is done, dividing their puny defence in two, as we marched unopposed down the field, leaving them on the ground behind us.
Our defence was even more solid than our offence, cracking down on them like a hammer on an anvil, seeing them quickly crumble before our might. With Deities of Doom conceeding another uncontested touchdown, in what supposedly should have been their drive, the game was evidently over long before it ended. An easy win for us as was to be expected. |
