It was fine Blood Bowl weather, and that was visible on the stands where 32.000 fans had gathered to watch. Changers of Faces won the coin-toss and elected to receive.
The amazon coach came well prepared and started out with a blitz, but he didn't accomplish much besides getting some players into enemy territory. The chaos coach however had spotted an amazon close to the lines so he send the guest star Grashnak Blackhoof on a blitz. He managed to push Charope into the crowd, and they knocked him out. Fyx also managed to knock out Hippomache before Jax picked up the ball. Clever positioning meant the Changers of Faces didn't meet much resistance rushing down the field, but Hixxer became to eager and fell over. The Macu Peaks Cheetahs was not able to capitulate though, and Antiope even managed to knock herself over trying to block. There was then little the amazons could do to stop Jax so he ran in for the games first TD. The Macu Peaks Cheetahs was now to recieve, and ORITHIA picked up the ball and passed it to Celaeno who ran into a tight cage of 6 amazons. The chaos coach now pulled out his second trick, a sorcerer hidden in the crowd, and blasted the cage with a fireball, knocking down 4 players. In the confusion afterwards Hixxer unfortunately stepped on Laodoke's face and badly hurt him, but fortunately the referee was still blinded from the flash! Pressured by several chaos players Celaeno dodged out and handed the ball to <no such player> who then threw it to Okyale (women and their ball handling). The cage to tight for a direct blitz, the chaos coach instead decided to order Grashnak to push another amazon into the crowd. This time it was Melousa who was unlucky, and the crowd on this side of the pitch managed to badly hurt her. Once again pressured Okyale dodged out, but failed to pass it. The ball, however, bounced right into the hands of ORITHIA. She was promptly knocked over and Jax was able to pick up the ball and rush to safety. Brutus the Insane even managed to knock out Antiope. Once again Jax met little resistance and was able to rush in for the second TD. In the dying minutes of second half, it seemed to late for the amazons to accomplish much, but they did managed to knock out Brutus the Insane and Barkida did some throwing practice when she passed the ball to MR. Mælk.
In the half Brutus the Insane was woken, with a little aid from the Bloodweizer babes. The amazon coach once again seemed to have a plan and his players was quick of on the snap. ORITHIA caught the kick-off and passed the ball to Celaeno. Once again the cage was swarmed and Gestix managed to knock out Mimnousa. Celaeno responded by badly hurting Exzyn. Celaeno dodged away and handed the ball of to ORITHIA. The chaos once again tried to mount an attack on the ball, but that was spoiled when Grashnak knocked himself over while blocking Xanthippe, although she was badly hurt in the process (a Minotaur is heavy!). Deinomache then knocked out Exzyn, before ORITHIA passed the ball to Okyale who ran in for the TD. Once again the babes helped the chaos player onto the pitch, while the amazons had mixes success getting their players ready. Macu Peaks Cheetahs kicked of and the kick was high. Jax couldn't catch it though. The ball must have hurt his hands, for when he tried to pick up the ball he he lost it, but not before Fyx managed to knock out Klymene. The amazons was not able to get to the ball though, and Brutus the Insane knocked out Mimnousa before Jax finally managed to pick up the ball. The Changers of Faces then stormed ahead, Gestix knocking out Mimnousa on the way, but then one of the journymen was stupid enough to try and kick a amazon who was lying down, and got ejected for the foul act. This had off cause nothing to do with the noble coach! Fortunately this didn't stop the chaos march to the finish line, but just before Jax reached the goal line Celaeno manged to dodge though two defenders to get in a block, knocking both herself and Celaeno down. In the final seconds Kragor the Terrifying manged to knock out Deinomache while Jax got up with the ball to rush in for the hattrick!
After the match Fyx was rewarded the chaos MVP a critical knockout while Klymene was awarded the amazon MVP (possibly as a kind of attendance trophy).
