Ready for the play-offs After a crushing 6-0 victory over Snot'n'Ogres, the Guardians secured their place in the play-offs.
After what was clearly just a training match for the Guardians, 5 players earned new skills which combined with our new catcher should make us more than prepared for the next match. |

Beaten by the dark side 0-3 was the end result of this better-not-mentioned match.
Even though the Guardians where receiving in the first half, they failed to mount a proper offensive and was efficiently stalled by the evil Hellbringers...The one chance to score was foiled by a streak of bad rolls that ended with the ball carrier falling down on the first gfi when going for the end-zone.
At the same time the Hellbringers was brining the boot (and loaded dice) to the table which ment that at the end of first half 6 players where in the KO and 2 players where out for the rest of the match. Fortunately the Guardians had anticipated this and their good looking babes and extra apothecaries made sure 11 players where ready for the 2nd half - Which pretty much played out the same way as 1st half...
The end result of 7-1 used rerolls pretty much says it all, and the Guardians headcoach takes full responsibility for his teams bad performace.
But on the bright side, the team recieved no lasting injuries and with the inclusion of new blitzer, things are hopefully going to improve in their next match. |

Victory - with a price The Guardians secured a important victory in their first match. Vital points considering we are playing in this seasons toughest group.
Victory was ensured by a clever play where the Guardians lured the majority of Army of Lovers player onto the right side of the pitch, and then sending the ball to the left side leaving the slow orcs no time to react properly, resulting in a solid touchdown in turn 3.
The rest of the match saw some solid stalling tactics from the Guardians, which however came with a price resulting in most of the teams star players either killed or seriously injured meaning they won't be available for the next match - so the next few battles will show if the Guardians can regain their strength and once again fight for the trophy. |

Defeat What on paper, looked like a manageable match, turned into a bitter deafeat.
Guardians of Rojano played well during the whole match, they possessed the strength to be ahead in the blocking game and their troll went on a rampage and ended up beeing responsible for 3 casulties.
We on the other hand once again struckled to beat even armor 7 which combined with the lack of cage busting skills and some bad tactical decisions, cost the game.
Alas, the Silvertower Guardians are out of the play-offs. But we will be back stronger than ever (once we fired all the slackers). |
